Project 4! I just realized why it wouldn’t let me post… my pictures were well over the max size for tumblir. My actual image is 8866 x 2796 pixels.

Tumblr won’t let me post pictures since yesterday! Not sure if anyone else has that problem but I was going to post pictures of P4 progress. Been working for over 12 hours now.

A photo of the uncanny German Film Museum in Berlin.

Sorry for yet another Sasquatch pic. But here’s one of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve ever seen (even at night), and I’ve traveled to the farthest ends of the world. I LOVE THE PAC NW! & ITS MUSIC!

A naturally uncanny landscape. A landfill community (la chureca) i visited in Nicaragua 4 years ago. For the editing process I was channeling a Pink Floyd album cover or something.

I had a “night terror” the other night which lead me to do research the next day. Often the product of PTSD or an overstimulated brain (most likely my case after the weekend at Sasquatch), it isn’t uncommon to experience auditory hallucinations while laying in bed trying to get to sleep. My auditory hallucinations were very scary and I tried to ignore them, and as I finally delved into my gateway to deep sleep found myself waking up in bursts of chills and physical feelings of being lifted, jolted and touched in bed. It was very scary even though I knew it was a product of my dreams. Last night I slept just fine, though. This image represents how I was feeling, and relates to an uncanny landscape in the a sort of distant way. The landscape is my bed (who said a landscape has to be significantly bigger than me?) and my mind is engaging with it. All the manifestations of my “night terror” are littering the dream landscape of my bed in a horrific fashion. Sorry if it’s a little confusion or maybe even slightly off topic.

Part of my revision for project #2. Matching the potted plant shape with the beer cup that was empty in the first version. Now it has beer and ping pong balls splashing up to compositionally mirror the greens and flowers of the original left-lush image.

Another way of capturing an image: Disposable camera. I took it into photoshop and changed the color and added a blocky-ness to the composition to match the memorial shape.

Way of capturing an image: photo booth on mac.
